Small holes and dents run $75-$150; medium holes $150-$350; large repairs or full-sheet replacement $400-$800. The national average across all repair sizes is around $609. These are researched third-party ranges, not our prices.
| Job | Researched range | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Small hole or dent (under 4 in) | $75 – $150 | Patch, sand, prime -- texture match is the real variable, not the hole. |
| Medium hole (5–12 in) | $150 – $350 | Usually needs a backing patch and a wider texture blend. |
| Large repair / full sheet | $400 – $800 | New sheet, tape, multiple coats of joint compound, full texture and paint blend. |
| Whole-house average, all repairs | $295 – $925 (avg. ~$609) | National average across all repair sizes. |
The part that actually varies job to job is the texture and paint match, not the patch itself -- a small hole on a wall with a distinctive knockdown or orange-peel texture can cost more to blend invisibly than a larger hole on a smooth wall. Central Florida's humidity also matters: a stain on drywall is often a moisture signal from a roof, window or flashing leak, and patching over the stain without finding the source means the same repair again within a season.
